We will be continueing to update, as well as bring new messages of intrest, (especially concerning America and the Church!) In these troubling times we need the truth as to what is happening in our world, and, what we can do to prepare for the days ahead. We have nothing to sell, just sharing the Gospel, and, some of todays important news.
With war on every hand, and the potential of terrorism around each corner, we need a sure word from (the Bible) and, we should ask God what part we will play in this last day scenario! Believe me dear reader, God has placed an urgency in my heart, to "Cry Aloud and Spare Not", and, to "Sound the Alarm" to a sin sick, Christ rejecting Nation, that judgement is at the door. Amen! How did you answer the above question? Oddly enough, there is a vast difference between the two, being "religious" and being a true Christian. I had the strangest dream a few nights ago. I dreamed that some man looked at me with a big smile and said: "Are you religious, or a Christian"? I remembered so clearly when I awoke, the answer I had given him.
I said: "I am a Christian"! I told him: "you can believe what ever you choose to believe, and be religious, but, you cannot believe anything you choose, and still be a Christian"! I hope to show you through this message, the difference of being a religious person, and a true child of God! Follow closely please, as we use the Bible to show what God expects of a child of God, a (Christian), and, how we can KNOW for sure if we are one. You might be surprised!

What a shock it would be indeed, to stand before the King of Kings on that great judgment day, when God will judge all man kind as to the "secrets of their heart, and, their true past life", to find out we had missed the mark! There will be "no holds bared", as we each stand before our Creator, and hear the record read of our prior conduct, and, our relationship to the Son of God. To find that we were only religious, and not really a Christian at all would be frightening indeed.
No one can back us up-Mom can't help then-the Pastor will be of no use then either-your Denomination will not be there to tell of all the hard work you did in the Church-your faithfulness in tithing- your working in the Church-your many talents-and hundreds of other things that will prove to be of "little or no consequence", as you are being judged on that day.
Some of the things that He will look for, is what the remaining part of this message is about. "
ARE YOU RELIGIOUS, OR A CHRISTIAN"? I can safely say, that probably the most "religious" people on earth are the Moslems! They pray "five times a day" (which is more than most of us do, including my self.) He (the Moslem) is willing to give his very life for "Allah" the Moon god, or, Mohammed.
We are not quite that devoted to Christ yet! But, the day is coming soon, "when we too may have to make our own personal choice, when faced with the option of either denying Christ as the "only Savior", the "only way" to heaven, or, standing up for His name, and proudly being called a Child of God (a Christian") What an awful time to find out that we were only "religious", and not a Christian at all. That we had been playing games all along, and were deceived!
I could mention the Hindu religion-Mormons-Jehovah's Witnesses- and one of the most dangerous cults on the face of the earth today, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, which is the runner up with the Moslem religion! All the above, are "religious, but lost"! Incidentally, the Pope had a recent visit with the leaders of Islam, and, the Pope says pretty much the same thing as our former President George Bush stated when in office: "we all worship the same God". REALLY?
The Jews in Christ's day, were following Him around to find some cause to accuse Him. Then one day, they overheard Jesus praying for a man sick of the palsy:
Mark.2:5..When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
To this, the Jews said one to the other:
7.Why does this man speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only.
Nearly two thousand years ago, "even the Scribes of that day knew that only God could forgive sins"! Today in the Catholic Church, Priests-Popes-Cardinals-Bishops, and, we are even told now that (Mary intercedes to Jesus for our sins). Is that really true? Are the Catholics "Christian, or religious"? Having said all that, the majority of all bible believing, bible reading, Christians (those who study their Bible) all know that based on the Scriptures none of those mentioned above, are "Born again Christians".
To those of you who have read anything of a historical nature, of "Rome and the Papacy", know that the six million Jews slaughtered at the German death camps, that "such a massacre does not even compare, to the severity of the torture and murder during the 605 years of the inquisition of Christians"! From the beginning of the Papacy, (The Catholic Church) until this present time, is estimated by credible historians, that more than "50,000,000, men and women have been slaughtered for the crime of "heresy", charged against them by Papal Rome!I CHALLENGE you to buy and read, "Foxes Book Of Martyrs", to see the unnecessary blood shed by the Catholic Church of Rome.
Let me clarify something here! You may ask, can a Catholic not become a Christian? Most certainly, but, they cannot remain a Catholic , and practice the Catholic doctrine, and still be a Christian! Are not Catholics Christians as they claim, you ask? How can ANYONE claim to be a Christian,(follower of Christ) and not be "born again" as Jesus said we must be? "Except a man be born again,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God! If he cannot enter the Kingdom of God, is he born again? To many "religious" groups, the teaching of Christ being "born again" is a big joke!
As children of God, the true Christian can worship NO ONE other than God Himself. NO ONE!-NO GROUP-NO SECT- NO DENOMINATION-OR, ANY OTHER GROUP CALLING ITSELF THE "CHURCH", OR, CLAIMING TO BE THE "MOTHER CHURCH", OR, ANY OTHER CHURCH-CAN TAKE THE PLACE OF WORSHIPPING GOD AND HIS SON. If they do; they are "religious but lost"!
Jesus said in Luke:4-8...FOR IT IS WRITTEN, THOU SHALT WORSHIP THE LORD THY GOD, AND HIM ONLY SHALT THOU SERVE. GOD SAID: THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GOD'S BEFORE ME! (NO GOD'S-NO IMAGES-NO IDOLS-NO STATUTES) {My emphasis}
Oh, beloved, the death grip that so many religions have on their followers, is indeed sad to see. "Watch, as the blind lead the blind, and they all fall into the ditch"! Here are just a very few of the lies that some Churches, and all Cults, have used to poison the minds of their followers. I repeat (just a few), there are hundreds more. The "cults" are having a field day now, as they portray themselves as "Christians".Here are just a few groups, that are leading their followers straight to "Hell", the place (they say) doesn't even exist! The Jehovah's Witness teach: "Jesus is dead, forever dead. Where ever his gases are, they stand somewhere as a grand memorial of God's love". Jehovah's Witnesses" teach, that Jesus is not risen, he is still in the grave? They teach (and one of their strongest lies)
there is no Hell! Hell is the grave! There are too many lies to even begin mentioning them on this group alone..
If Jesus is dead, (forever dead) like the Jehovah's Witnesses teach, why do they now call themselves "Christians"? Since the meaning of being called a Christian, is to be Christ like, and, If Christ is dead (forever dead) why would anyone want to follow a DEAD MAN?They could follow Taz Russell their founder, for he is surely dead, but they try to distance themselves from their own founder as much as possible. They could still be called Russellites! Of which they also hate to be called! Are they Religious? You betchum! Religious but lost, and soon to wind up in the place, that "they teach doesn't exist"! "The blind leading the blind, to an eternity with out Christ,
in the "Lake of fire"!
Sometimes being "religious", is far more dangerous than just being a poor sinner who knows nothing about sin, false doctrine, cults, or any thing else of a spiritual nature. The sinner has little to (unlearn), of the brainwashing and false doctrines of these groups. So, he may come to the Lord unfettered, and without the knowledge of these false doctrines, when the Holy Spirit draws him. Being "religious" give a person a self confidence that all is well, because of what his Church, or little group teaches. Sometimes it is hard to face the real truth about God's Word, for fear of admitting: "that all the years he has been taught by some Cult, or group, has been false"! Remember this, if nothing else in this message!
THERE ARE "NO CHRISTIANS" IN HELL, BUT MILLIONS OF "RELIGIOUS" FOLKS. MORE ARE GOING EACH DAY! ALL THE ABOVE ARE AS SURE OF HELL, AS IF THEY WERE ALREADY THERE! DON'T BE ONE OF THEM!
How do you know so much you ask? Jesus said:
except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God! To all the above, being "Born Again" is a big joke! That is how I know, because Jesus said so:
We might ask: "How many kinds of Christians are there"? Although each individual, has his/her own interpretation of what a Christian is, how does it measure up to the Word of God? No, I am not speaking of "legalism", I am speaking of the attributes of a Christian, in comparison to a religious person.THERE ARE PLENTY OF RELIGIOUS PEOPLE IN HELL, (AND MORE ON THE WAY 24/7), but what is it that makes the difference between the two? Jesus said:
John 14:6
. I am the way ,the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus also said: There is none other name under heaven whereby man must be saved.
I watch each day, while men and women think everything is all right in their life! Many say: "I am as good as Sister Sue, or Brother Bob"! If they make it in to heaven, I know I have it made! How many hundreds of times have you heard that statement? Dear friend, don't be so foolish as to think, that your right standing or "repentance toward God" has ANYTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH( SISTER SUE, AND BROTHER BOB!) We all have been given the opportunity of coming to Jesus in repentance, and asking for God's mercy and forgiveness of our sins. If we fail to do this, and, If we try any other way, we are just being "religious", and, as lost as a snowflake, in a snowstorm! Jesus said: If we try to get to heaven any other way, we are the same as a thief and a robber!
A man once told me about 25 years ago: "Brother Bill, I am helping to build a particular Church"! I said: "That is well and good, but it will not help you one bit in getting to Heaven"! Nearly 25 years later, to my knowledge, he is still not serving God. Building churches-giving finance to some Church or Organization-walking the Isle, as some call it-joining the "Church of the first Love"-driving the Church Bus-singing in the Church choir-can give a person a sense of well being, worthiness, or a "Religious" feeling, but "You still must be Born Again" to enter the kingdom of God! Don't pass up the message:
"I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL"!, on this web site. The warning gets no stronger, than what Jesus taught about Hell!
Without the regeneration by the Holy Spirit, a person is simply "religious" but lost! A man told me once while living in Chicago: "I feel so good every time I leave the Church on Sunday"! What is wrong with that you ask? He had just asked the " Priest" to forgive his sins as he made his confession! The dear man was a wicked fellow, and there was no change in his heart for God. He had asked the wrong person for forgiveness! Mary does not, or cannot, forgive our sins! No Priest can forgive sins! The Catholic Church now teaches that you must first pray to Mary, and then SHE goes to Jesus and asks forgiveness for you!WRONG AGAIN! No PREACHER can forgive sins! All of these actions are "religious", but are as worthless as an automobile with no tires! The car may look good, and, even sound good, but "it ain't goin nowhere"!
1st John:1-9.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Who do we confess too? Jesus! Who is faithful? Jesus! Who forgives our sins? Jesus! Who cleanses us from "all" unrighteousness? Jesus! He is faithful-He is just! All other methods, or rituals, are just a waste of time, and assure us only that we are indeed "religious" but lost! Are you "a Christian, or just religious"? Do you not know, that both Jehovah's Witnesses, the Catholic Church, Mormons, The Masons, and all of the different "Lodges" are all RELIGIOUS but lost! I am not a very patient person when it comes to certain areas of doctrine.
It upsets me greatly, when I hear of the many false cults, and doctrines flourishing today, and then some well meaning Christian, will say: "Well, we can't judge their hearts"!
The Bible tells us, that "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh"! In heavens name, if we are going to Judge angels, as the Apostle Paul tells us we will, how much more so things pertaining to this life? Do you realize, that we won't be doing any Judging in heaven?All of our God given reasoning, and spiritual wisdom, we are to use here on this earth! That is one of the reasons why the "Cults" flourish, no one will "make a judgment" or, confront them of what is right or wrong in their doctrine! One thing is absolutely sure, ALL OF THE MURDERING, TERRORISM, AND KILLING NOW BEING DONE, AND, (that "HAS BEEN DONE" IN THE NAME OF GOD), IS BEING DONE BY "RELIGIOUS", FANATICS, AND CERTAINLY NOT THE GOD OF THE BIBLE, BUT A FALSE gOD!
I am literally amazed, as I look around me to see the violent world we live in, and, at the ever presence of war, not only in other Countries, but the potential for "terrorism" in our own Nation as well is at an all time high! In our own country, there are "terrorist camps", as they practice their art of killing! The recient Terrorist attacks, and, failed attempts also, should put us on our spiritual guard, looking for God's guidance and protection. But speak only about things that are so trivial they are almost meaningless, in comparison to these last days in which we live. You hear them speak of: Better jobs-finer cars-better homes-cheaper food-cheaper gas prices-small talk, and big gossip, is the call for the day in many places.
As I close, let me mention, those of you who are waiting for the "Rapture", be sure and read the message on this site titled:
"THESE ARE THEY "! http://sigm.net/these_are_they_ Check out your life closely, to see if you have had a truly "Born Again" experience with God! Have you asked God to forgive you of all your sins? Have you truly repented, and has the Holy Spirit quickened to your heart, that you need a Savior? If so, and you have prayed and ask for forgiveness, you are greatly blessed. You will "not be" one of the "Religious but lost" individuals.
The days ahead, along with these present days, are "perilous days". Don't put off serving God! Do it today! Then, if someone asks you in the future,
"ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN, OR JUST RELIGIOUS?", you can gladly tell them of the place where God forgave you of your sins, and, where He gave you a brand new life, in exchange for the old one. Tell them that God forgave you of all your sins, due to what Jesus His Son did on the cross at Calvary. Do it today my dear friend, you will be "eternally" grateful that you did.
